Description
“From Flames to Frost,” a poem:
In a realm of stark divide,
Reigned two queens on either side,
One ablaze with daylight’s might,
The other cold as winter's night.
Queen of Fire, a dance of flame,
Her form alight, in sun’s own name.
With hair as fierce as ember's glow,
Commanding respect from friend and foe.
Queen of Ice, in blizzard’s embrace,
Her aura calm, like moon’s own grace.
With hair as blue as glacier’s frost,
Her rule unbreakable and never crossed.
Each believed her reign divine,
The world in halves, a divisive line.
A rivalry ancient, a test of will,
Fire’s heat versus Ice’s chill.
Flames would leap, a fiery scold,
Melting away the creeping cold.
And in return, the Ice Queen's power,
Would quench the flames in starlit hour.
Yet, as time wove its endless thread,
One truth rang clear, each lived in dread.
Til a moment came, a shared insight,
To meet at the edge of day and night.
Under the sky of twilight’s flow,
Fire met Ice, neither friend, nor foe.
They realized then, they both did hold,
Only half a truth, from stories old.
Together they stood, eyes wide in awe,
Their past a lie that neither saw.
They swore an oath, strong and keen,
To bridge the divide that once had been.
From Flames to Frost, they let it be known,
Through their union their strength had grown.
Two halves of a whole, in unity bound,
Shining brightly, with true harmony found.
